Biography

I am the current PI on an NSF REU (Bioenergy Systems) now in its 8th year, I was the PI on an NSF CCLI/TUES project about microbology laboratory curriculum development including a Concepts Inventory and Student-Centered Learning. I have active research laboratories emphasizing environmental and biomedical microbiology.
